Where we deliver

BuksBakes provides secure delivery across London, handled with care to keep your cake pristine from our kitchen to your celebration.

If you are outside London, please still enquire. If we have capacity, we may be able to quote for delivery outside our standard area.

Delivery fees

Delivery is priced based on:

• Your postcode and distance
• Cake size and stability (tiered or heavily decorated cakes often require extra handling)

Delivery timing and handover

• We agree on a delivery date and time window with you once your order is confirmed.
• Someone must be available to receive the cake during the agreed window.
• We hand cakes to the recipient at the address provided. Once delivered and accepted, the cake becomes the customer’s responsibility (including storage and handling).

Important: Cakes cannot be left outside, in a “safe place,” or unattended due to their delicate nature.

Lead times and rush orders

Most cakes require 3–5 days’ notice.
For larger, more detailed designs (especially wedding cakes, multi-tier cakes, sugar flowers), we strongly recommend earlier booking to secure your date.

If you need a cake sooner, submit an enquiry and we will tell you what is possible.

Cake care (quick guidance)

To keep your cake looking and tasting its best:

• Transport on a flat surface in the coolest part of the car.
• Store as advised (many cakes do best in a cool room or fridge depending on finish).
• Bring cake to room temperature before serving where appropriate.
• Our cakes have a shelf life of 4 days at room temperature
