Our 1 to 1 Cake Decorating Masterclass is ideal for beginners and cake decorators who want to sharpen their skills, improve their finishing, and build the confidence to create bespoke celebration and wedding cakes. This is a truly hands on experience across the full day, with guidance at every step as you design, decorate, and stack a two tier cake (8 inch and 5 inch). We usually work with both round and square cakes, using professional methods you can confidently repeat at home or in your business. This is a two day intensive, running from 10:00am to 3:00pm each day. The finish time may run slightly over depending on your pace, because we do not rush the process and we do not skip steps. Class objectives You will learn how to: • Make smooth, stable Italian meringue buttercream • Level, layer, fill, and prepare cakes correctly • Make white chocolate ganache and prepare it to the right consistency for covering • Cover cakes neatly in white chocolate ganache • Apply fondant for a clean finish with sharp, professional edges • Use simple stencilling techniques that deliver consistent results • Stack tiers securely and professionally • Create wafer paper and artificial flowers for decoration • Trusted cake suppliers list will be provided. Additional support • Printed notes will be provided during the class • Ongoing support for one month after the masterclass • Guidance on photographing your work for your portfolio or social media • All packaging needed to transport your cake. Cancellation policy Because spaces are limited, all bookings are non refundable. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your place to a later class date, subject to availability, as long as you give at least 14 days’ notice. Cancellations within 14 days of the class date, and no shows, are not eligible for a refund or transfer to another.
